Bien plus présente qu'avant, Sara Seubert chante dans des duos malicieux très inspirés de Diablo Swing Orchestra. Même la production est d'une fraîcheur impeccable ! Un renouveau prometteur ! il-kor Absolut großartiges Album von Anfang bis Ende! Die Max und Moritz Geschichte in dieser Form zu hören, hätte ich mir nie träumen lassen. Und das auch noch sehr abwechlungsreich und genial umgesetzt. Eines der Top-Alben dieses Jahres!

paulabennett13 An excellent album with quite an eclectic variety of sounds, grooves, instruments with sprinkle of metal throughout. It floats in a realm of Mr. Bungle, but quite a bit more digestable and tame in comparison to them. Now I need to reference the stories and maybe learn some German.

MANSFELD "Max und Moritz" is a musical version of the illustrated story "Max und Moritz - Eine Bubengeschichte in sieben Streichen" by the German poet and illustrator Wilhelm Busch. It was first published at the end of October 1865.  

The story is one of the best-selling children's books and has been translated into 300 languages and dialects.

Diese Art von Avantgarde Progressive Death Metal oder Extreme Experimental Prog lässt sich nur akustisch erfassen, nicht adäquat in Worte kleiden. Ich bin sicher, dass es für diese Art von Musik nur eine kleine Zielgruppe gibt, aber diese bekommt nur selten neues Futter, weswegen diese CD ein Fest für die Nische ist, zu der ich auch gehöre.

und vertonen für ihr Comeback mal eben Wilhelm Buschs Kinderschreck "Max und Moritz". Dabei ist ein ganz großes Werk rausgekommen.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
